Fitbit Charge 6 and Garmin vívosmart 5
GPS is the key difference.
Fitbit Charge 6 has onboard GPS. Garmin vívosmart 5 uses the connected phone’s GPS for routes. If you need GPS without carrying a phone, the finder therefore does not treat both models as equally suitable.
Sleep and smartphone.
Both provide manufacturer-described sleep and activity tracking for iPhone and Android. Fitbit requires a Google account. For Garmin, check the current Garmin Connect compatibility of your exact phone.
Costs and open questions.
The checked Google Store lists Charge 6 at €159.95 with free standard shipping. Stock remains unconfirmed. We have not verified a current German offer price for vívosmart 5. Standard features have no required subscription; additional premium services are excluded from this base comparison.
